Hi, I’m Ahad, a Senior Content Specialist at Yoast. With a background in Computer Science Engineering and over six years of experience in SEO, I focus on turning complex search and technical concepts into content that’s clear, practical, and genuinely helpful.

I started my career as an SEO Executive at an agency specializing in WooCommerce plugins and HubSpot partnerships. While I began with a technical degree, I quickly realized that my real strength wasn’t writing code but explaining it. That curiosity led me into content, where I worked on off-page SEO, ghostwriting, forum management, and publishing on WordPress, gradually developing a better understanding of how SEO strategy connects with day-to-day execution.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated with startups, worked with a WordPress-focused agency, and even spent some time as a Prompt Engineer, which deepened my interest in the evolving relationship between AI and search. Yoast has been part of my learning journey since my early SEO days, so contributing to the “SEO for everyone” mission now feels especially meaningful.

Outside of work, I enjoy lifting weights, mostly to balance out my love for good food, playing badminton, and catching up with friends over evening chai.
