How can I extend / renew my license?
A license key is no longer needed to use our premium plugins because we launched a customer portal called My Yoast where you can find and manage all the Yoast SEO products you own. We now use subscriptions to manage plugin updates.
If you don’t have an account yet or want to know how it all works, this My Yoast QuickStart guide will get you started.
If you have an older version of Yoast which has a license field please refer to this guide which explains more about how to update to get subscriptions.
All premium plugins include a one year subscription for plugin updates and support.
Subscriptions purchased between August 29, 2017 and September 13, 2017 will automatically renew, unless you’ve canceled your automatic subscription.
All other subscriptions must be renewed manually after one year. We will send renewal email notifications, starting a month prior to the renewal date. If you did not receive or no longer have a renewal notification email, please contact the support team.
It is not possible to renew your subscription more than a month before the renewal date.
Renewing your subscription early
As mentioned above, you can renew a month before the end date of your subscription. Please know that renewing your subscription a month before it ends does not cut your current subscription short. Orders that are renewed in the month before the end of the subscription will automatically get the current subscription end date + 1 year.
Example: Your next payment date (or expiration date) is set for the 5th of December 2019. The renewal email will be sent on the 5th of November. You can renew anywhere between the 5th of November and the 5th of December, and the next payment date (or expiration date) will be updated to the 5th of December 2020.
