Subscription modifications: FAQ

Congratulations on modifying and upgrading your subscription! If you have any questions after you’ve changed your subscription, we’ll answer them in this FAQ.

How much will I pay for my new subscription?

You’ve already paid for your current subscription. When you upgrade, you only pay the price difference between your current and the upgraded product, calculated for the remaining time of your existing subscription.

For example, if you upgrade to Yoast WooCommerce SEO and you have three months left on your Yoast SEO Premium subscription, you’ll only pay the difference in price between these two products for those three months. The subscription end date remains the same.

How long does my new subscription last?

Your subscription end date will remain the original subscription end date.

Will the subscription billing style change?

Your subscription will be renewed automatically in the future, and the renewal amount will be the price of your new subscription package.

Will I need to uninstall or reinstall the plugin after the modification process is completed?

No. You can continue using the same plugin you already installed on your site. Any plugin not already installed will need to be installed on your site.

Will I lose any of the hard work I’ve done on my site?

No. Yoast SEO stores SEO data and settings in the database, so subscription modifications will not cause any data loss.
