WordPress 2.7!
Ok I've bitten the bullet. Yoast.com is now running on WordPress 2.7, and threaded comments has been enabled. I've also updated my plugins that weren't working on 2.7, so all should work well now. If it doesn't, please let me know in the comments!

Thanks so much for updating your plugins asap! There's an error on line 464 in sociable.php. I'm getting it while activating the plugin. removing ";" at the end of the line fixes it.
Thanks again,
Dmitriy
by Joost de Valk on 12 December, 2008 at 22:51
Thx Dmitriy! Fixed it!
by Wesley on 12 December, 2008 at 22:59
I also got that error, fixed it myself, but still get this when I go to the settings page:
Couldn't find wp-content/plugins folder. Please make sure WordPress is installed correctly.
In your plugins/sociable folder, you must have these files:
___list of files___
by Joost de Valk on 12 December, 2008 at 23:37
Have you uploaded all the files, including the images? This sounds like a broken upgrade...
by Wesley on 13 December, 2008 at 18:56
I've discovered that it's due to chdir being a disabled function on my server. I'm not really sure, but I think you can update the plugin to not use chdir. Ofcourse, this is a specific condition that probably not alot of people will have, so it probably isn't worth your time. I can fix this manually myself.

This is a test comment.

I also had the same problem, but as I was writing this comment, the sociable plug-in activated properly.
Good stuff.

Hi Joost,
It's not your plugin, but you mention it in your WordPress SEO article. The plugin PagerFix doesn't work with my WordPress 2.7 installation. It gives an error when editing the php files through the WordPress admin panel.
Thanks for all the great information on this weblog!

I agree with Frank, thanks for all the great info, tips, and articles!
by Joost de Valk on 14 December, 2008 at 11:43
Hey Frank, keep watching this blog, I happen to know a new version of that plugin will be released shortly :)
by John on 13 December, 2008 at 19:02
When you converted to wordpress 2.7 which of your plugins malfunctioned?
by Joost de Valk on 14 December, 2008 at 11:43
Well John, none did, except for 1 minor bug in my own library of plugins, which I fixed.
by Dmitriy on 13 December, 2008 at 20:13
Hey Joost,
I'm getting the following error in the dashboard widget:
Warning: array_slice() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/sociable/yoast-posts.php on line 43
Doesn't affect the functionality, but looks kind of ugly :)
by Dmitriy on 13 December, 2008 at 20:18
and now that error is gone. hmm
by Joost de Valk on 14 December, 2008 at 11:43
Yeah that was fixed in an update.
by Wesley on 13 December, 2008 at 22:49
Another error (or maybe it's just me again :)), disabling sociable for a specific post or page (page in my case) had no effect. It stays displayed on my site.
by Wesley on 13 December, 2008 at 22:51
Oh, wait a sec.. if I use the custom fields to change this, it works as expected. But I also see a checkbox at the bottom of the page, which does not work.
by Joost de Valk on 14 December, 2008 at 11:44
Yeah I know, hate it, but I'll be fixing it soon(ish).
by James on 14 December, 2008 at 06:55
Fantastic release, I've just started upgrading my blogs to use it. Nice clean and easy to use interface.
by Doogiewater on 15 December, 2008 at 20:39

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare noindex_feed() (previously declared in /home/shop4u/public_html/theelitewater.com/wp-content/plugins/robots-meta/trunk/robots-meta.php:466) in /home/shop4u/public_html/theelitewater.com/wp-content/plugins/robots-meta/robots-meta.php on line 441..thx
by Joost de Valk on 15 December, 2008 at 21:33
Looks like you've got the plugin twice now. Delete the directory and install it again completely, something went wrong.
by Doogiewater on 15 December, 2008 at 22:05
I deleted All then tried to re-install through Dashboad...
Installing Plugin from file: robots-meta[1].3.0.11.zip
