Ryte support deprecated
Public service announcement
As of Yoast SEO 19.6, which launched on the 23rd of August 2022, support for our Ryte integration has been deprecated. The Ryte integration would check whether your site was indexable by search engines and did so weekly.

What does this mean for my site?
If you are running an older version of Yoast SEO you may have seen one of the following notifications:
“Ryte cannot determine whether your site can be found by search engines.”
“An error occurred while checking whether your site can be found by search engines.”
By updating your website to the latest version of Yoast SEO, the integration will no longer work. This will not negatively affect your website or your SEO. Yoast SEO has other checks to detect whether your site can be indexed by search engines.
Why has this cooperation come to an end?
Ryte is undergoing a business transformation and has shifted its focus to enterprise businesses. Therefore they’ve decided to stop supporting the integration with Yoast SEO.
What do I have to do?
Update your website to the latest version of Yoast SEO. To ensure your website can be indexed by search engines Yoast SEO checks your WordPress settings and will notify you when you’re discouraging search engines from indexing your website.
Next to this, there are other options available to regain the functionality of the Ryte integration. For example, you could try out:
- Google Search Console
- Semrush Site Audit
