Preparing for a post-SEO era

Yoast is joining a UWEBC expert panel to explore how generative search is reshaping the future of SEO and customer discovery. Organized by the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s UWEBC network, this session brings together industry leaders to share practical insights on how brands can stay visible as AI-driven search experiences continue to evolve.

Our Principal SEO, Carolyn Shelby, will be part of the panel alongside Tim Holmes (Navigating AI), Chelsea Drusch (Weidert Group), and Dan Shure (Evolving SEO). Together, they’ll discuss how generative AI is changing how people find information, why traditional SEO strategies are no longer enough, and what organizations need to do to adapt as AI tools summarize and recommend content rather than listing blue links.

Date & time: January 27, 2026, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (CST)
