As a product marketing writer, you will focus on writing engaging and informative content that helps explain our company’s products to attract new customers.

What are you going to do?
You will mainly focus on writing engaging content for our products (incl. WordPress plugins and apps), website (yoast.com), emails, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
You work closely with marketing and product teams, especially UX. Also you are going to create content for Yoast’s sister companies, such as Bluehost.
You’ll contribute to the planning and execution of our product marketing strategies to meet business objectives and goals. Additionally, you will conduct user research to better understand our customers.
You work ensures our marketing messages are clear and aligned with our tone of voice.
about you
Who are you?
You are a creative copywriter with excellent writing and communication skills, a deep understanding of the product and its market.
You excel in writing content for different channels such as websites, blog posts, static visuals, video, email, and in-app messages, adjusting style to match the audiences’ intent. Collaboration is key to your approach.
You like working in a fast-paced company and are eager to learn new things. With your data-driven approach, you are constantly learning how to improve. That means you’ll:
- Craft compelling copy that appeals to our target audiences and brings content ideas to life.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
- Conduct research on our users and share insights that benefit everyone in the company.
- Analyze content performance to continuously improve conversion rates.
What are we looking for
What are your skills?
- Excellent English writing skills (C1 CEFR).
- You have excellent communication skills.
- Experience with WordPress or similar platforms is a must.
- Experience with writing copy for software is a plus.
- Experience with user research and A/B testing is a plus.
