WordCamp Pisa 2025
WordCamp Pisa 2025 is officially on the calendar, and Yoast will be there, too!
This year’s event takes place on 21–22 November, right in the heart of Pisa, at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa. Day one kicks off with Contributor Day, a chance to collaborate, contribute, and connect with the WordPress community. The second day is all about talks, inspiration, and sharing ideas, followed by a relaxed and fun After Party to wrap things up.
Team Yoast at WordCamp Pisa
We’re excited to join the Italian WordPress community once again. Our very own Enrico Battocchi is part of the organizing team, and that’s just the beginning. Two of our Yoasters will also take the stage with insightful talks you won’t want to miss.
On Saturday, November 22, Paolo L. Scala will dive into applying the Onion Architecture paradigm to WordPress plugin development. He’ll explore why following a solid architecture matters, what the Onion model looks like in practice, and how it can lead to cleaner, more maintainable code.
Later that day, at 4:00 PM CEST, Andrea Fercia will lead a session on web accessibility. Beginners will find practical tips for navigating accessibility challenges, while experienced developers will be encouraged to rethink how accessibility shapes design and development from the start.
And don’t forget to stop by the Yoast sponsor table to chat with our team about all things SEO, AI, and WordPress. We’d love to meet you! 😉
Grab your ticket now, and see you in Pisa!
