Rome Core Days 2024
Rome Core Days is a two-day event on November 8-9, 2024, dedicated to WordPress Core developers. It will feature roundtables, open discussions, and contribution rooms.
This event is a great opportunity for the global community of Core developers, both beginners and experienced, to meet in person. Attendees will discuss different aspects of WordPress, share best practices, discover new solutions to speed up development on major projects, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the WordPress developer community.
Alain Schlesser will speak there. His talk title is User Experience First: Reconciling Best Practices with WordPress’s Core Philosophy. Alain shares insights on how testing, modularity, and managing technical debt can still thrive, inspiring creative solutions to tough problems.
Andrea Fercia will also speak there. His talk is titled "The Future of the WordPress Development Process and Contribution." In this session, there will be an open discussion about reimagining the WordPress development process and contributing to a healthier, more inclusive place.
