Yoast collaborates with Microsoft to help AI understand Open Web
WIJCHEN, Netherlands – Nov. 25th, 2025 – Yoast today announced a new collaboration with NLWeb, the open framework developed by Microsoft that is designed to make the web readable and usable by AI systems. Through this integration, Yoast will become one of the first organizations to help websites built on WordPress communicate directly with AI agents in a consistent, privacy respecting way.
For over a decade, Yoast has helped millions of websites speak the language of search. Now, as the world shifts toward conversational discovery, Yoast is collaborating with Microsoft to extend that mission of transparency and trust: ensuring that the open web remains visible, understandable, and accurately represented within AI experiences, enabling Yoast’s customers to optimize for AI discovery.

Yoast’s integration with NLWeb will begin rolling out in phases, starting with functionality that helps Yoast customers using WordPress express their content in ways AI systems can interpret accurately, without any additional setup or new tools required.
