Sociable update

I’ve updated Sociable last night, it now includes a few more social sites, mostly small ones, but also two big Spanish sites: Menéame and BarraPunto, the Spanish version of Digg and SlashDot. The best new addition is terribly simple but fun though, it’s the forward by email button you now see below this post too. It’s an idea I got through e-mail from Robert Harm, and it’s just so simple it’s almost stupid, but it works: click the email button for yourself, and see.

Aren’t the best ideas always the most simple?

    Hi Joost,

I have a question. How can I add sociable in my template manually? It is placed just bottom of the entry but I want to change its place in my template. Whic code shuld I add to my main index or edit in plugin file? Thanks.

@John: check the docs on push.cx/sociable for the sociable_html function.

    Hi Joost,

I had the same question as John, but it appears that push.cx/sociable is offline. The entire site is offline actually.

Could you elaborate a little more on the function?

    Thanks!

Found the function: ?php print sociable_html(); ?

Add the usual brackets to get it working (not sure if code in comments works).

Hm. “Print this article” does not work for me. When I click on it, a blank page opens and the print preview shows “about:blank”. Help?

(The site is commercial and not yet released, don’t want to give it away just yet. :-))
