You can find the Accounts tab by going to your WordPress backend, clicking “Yoast SEO” and then “Social” in the menu on the left-hand side. You’ll automatically land on the Accounts tab of the Social settings.
In the General tab of the Search Appearance settings, you can choose whether your site represents a person or an organization. The choice you made there will have an impact on the options you will see in the Accounts tab of the Social settings of Yoast SEO.

Site represents an organization
If your site represents an organization, you will get a form with social media accounts in the Accounts tab. Here, you can insert the URLs of your social media profiles in the form.
The data you add here will not be visible on the front of your site. Instead, it will be used as metadata for Google’s Knowledge Graph. The metadata we generate will allow Google to show your company’s social profiles in the Knowledge Graph in the search results (if your company has one).
Site represents a person
When your site represents a person, the form on the Accounts tab is disabled. Instead, you will need to add your social media accounts to your User profile in WordPress. Yoast SEO will use the data you insert in your user profile to show your social media profiles in the knowledge panel. Keep in mind that Yoast SEO does not automatically grant you a knowledge panel. It is search engines that decide who gets one.
