Yet Another WordPress Podcast
I've just agreed with my buddy Daron Babin of WebmasterRadio.FM to be the host for a weekly WordPress podcast, no names or time slots decided yet but I'm so excited about the news that I wanted to share it with you all!
All your suggestions for names, topics and guests are welcome in the comments!

How about Valking through WordPress?
by Adair on 1 July, 2009 at 22:19
As Tweeted earlier - how about W.H.Y! Meaning WordPress Help (with) Yoast. Or simply just The Yoastly Podcast.
Good luck with it...

Great call by Daron.
As for suggestions, here's a couple for the name of the show;
1. Tagged
2. WordPress Opentopic

Great news Joost, always looking for new WordPress-related podcasts. Good luck with it.
I'd love to hear some topics aimed at using WP as a CMS.

Looking forward to the podcast :) .
Here is a name suggestion: The PressCast or The WordCast
by David on 11 July, 2009 at 01:13
WordCast already exists as a WordPress Podcast. :)

This is really good news, I download a good number of webmaster radio shows via itunes and have been impressed whenever you've been on them in a guest capacity, will be sure to add your podcast to the list.
by Craig on 2 July, 2009 at 18:47
Congratulations Joost! Looking forward to listening.

by corey salzano on 2 July, 2009 at 21:21
my suggestion is WordPresser
by Chris Clayton on 3 July, 2009 at 14:17
You should call it "press it with Joost" or somthing, leaving out 'word', that way your not restricted to just the blogging software but can also talk about their sister products such as buddypress, videopress ect.
Cant wait to listen :)
by Joost de Valk on 3 July, 2009 at 14:18
That's very smart feedback Chris, thanks!

Daron is an awesome guy! I've known him since I went to my first SEO Conference that he hosted in Vancouver, BC in 2001.

WMR tends not to build the name or brand of the host into the name of the show.
I can't see anything with Yoast or your name being in it.
That said, think about the job the show does for people. It helps them...
extend and optimize the WordPress platform far beyond the stock install, right?
Kind of like aftermarket replacement parts for a car.
Seems to me that "Pimp My Ride" would be a good seed of an idea to take and expand upon for the name.

I think you should call it "Yoastcast"
by Aaron D. Campbell on 6 August, 2009 at 17:41
Now that the first episode is out there, do you know if there will be a way to subscribe to this via iTunes (or something similar)?
by Laurens on 12 August, 2009 at 09:54
Here is another vote for adding the podcast to iTunes.

You may also want to fix the tags in future episodes. The first episode has 'Joost DeValk' as the title and 'Press this' as the artist. I guess it needs to be the other way around. Setting 'genre' to 'podcast' or 'WordPress podcast' would also be a nice touch. Metadata are not just important to WordPress users only!
