The meaning of “de Valk”

Pegegrine falconAnother great query found in my 103bees account “what does devalk mean?”. Well, this one is simple. “de Valk” is “the falcon” in Dutch. If you’ve never seen one, this is an example of a peregrine falcon, one of the most beautiful species within this family of birds.

A few other nice members of the falcon family are the Merlin Falcon, and the complete family of the Kestrels, most famously known for the common Kestrel.

If you want to know more, WikiPedia has a nice page on the Falcon.
