Sociable 2.6.4 some bugfixes and Blogosphere news!
I just updated Sociable to include Blogosphere News, and fixed some the issues causing the plugin to spew out invalid HTML.
I really think Blogosphere News could become a cool resource, so I ask of you to have a look at it :). Now go download Sociable and enjoy!

I just downloaded and installed Sociable version 2.6.4 and when I went to configure it it complained because blogpsphere news gif was not in the image directory. I rechecked the archive and sure enough it's missing and the program won't run without it.

I had this same issue as Wayne. It was my first time installing the plugin so I made a dummy image to get through the installation. Thanks for the plugin!

Hi Joost,
Thanks for taking over the plugin. I first tested a couple weeks ago and it's great.
Unfortunately I have to report that the drag and drop is not working on WPMU. It works great on my stand alone blogs, but in MU it fails in all PC and Mac browsers I tried. Not a biggie for me, but thought I'd share.
Thanks!

Hi Joost!
This is a very nice plugin indeed !
I think that it might be a good idea to let people choose exactly where the outpout appears, by simply telling them to add 'sociable_html()' in their code ?
It's the only way I found to have the icons Into my 'Postmetadata' section !
Thanks anyway for this simple yet really useful Plugin !
Regards from France =) ,
Augustin

Greetings! Any idea why the icons on my site
http://www.litterless.org/?p=3
are not bottom aligned, and have the border around them when hovering?
I know it's more of a CSS issue, but thought someone can help.
And following up on Augustin's post, where/how can I add Sociable to the gray post meta data section, instead of right after the post?
Thanks, much!

How do I configure Sociable that it only shows in my posts and not on my pages?

Excellent plugin!
Found a slight problem. When rolling over the Digg icon it displays "body text" rather than "digg".

Find sociable.php in your plugins/sociable directory. Search for the Digg definition, or for bodytext. Delete the line containing 'bodytext'. Save sociable.php
Tada!

Hi Joost, would it be possible for you to add a brief description to the sociable tutorial page about how to easily change the placement of the icons? (Align left or right)
Thanks.

@Sean: that bug should be fixed a few versions ago ;)
@Mikael: http://yoast.com/wordpress/sociable/#sociablehtml not enough? what else would you like to know?
by Mikael Rieck on 22 July, 2008 at 21:40
Joost, I might not have been clear (or maybe I'm too stupid) :)
I don't mean placement of the icons like in which order they are. What I mean is that as you show on http://yoast.com/wordpress/sociable/#sociablehtml the plugin will display all the social buttons at the bottom left of the post. But when you're using it on your site it is placed at the bottom right of the post. I know it is a basic question and that its all about code/html but I just can't figure it out. Maybe it could be build into the plugin so that it would matter what theme you were using?
