Nominated for a SEMMY (or two)!

2009 SEMMY NomineeIt's always great when people recognize the value of the content you work hard to produce. Whether that is by email, donation or otherwise. To be nominated for a SEMMY is more than great though, it's insanely cool!

From their about page: "The SEMMYS are an annual awards event honoring the great content produced across the search and online marketing industry.".

I've been nominated in two categories:

  1. SEO, with my post SEO for Newspapers
  2. Blogs & Blogging, with my WordPress SEO article.

Even cooler, guest poster Eduard Blacquière got nominated too with his article Measuring SEO: why rankings are worthless, in the SEO category.

Now judges will filter out the posts that people can vote on, if either of these 3 articles get through to that, I'll expect you to vote for us!

  3. Not sure about the semmy as a concept, but it's nice to see you've made your way up in the past few years. =)

Now go and spend some time with your family. ;-)

  4. Great news - can't wait to vote for you! That SEO article really helped me out a ton - and I'm pimping ur breadcrumbs plugin and a few others on my artistic cat photos blog!
