Searching with Google: country based results made easy

Dave Davis dropped me a line to tell about the Google Global Firefox extension they have just released, which allows you to search Google with geo targetting for different countries without having to edit the URL by hand. It’s quite useful, I dare say, so check it out!

Thanks for the Mention Joost. I played down the depersonalization feature specifically because I used your extension previously and didn’t want it to seem I was stealing your features!

Was a pain to get fully functional, perhaps we could share some experiences on the dev of each others FF plugins?

Thanks! A very handy tool! Google have just updated their Ad Preview tool with geo-targeting allowing advertisers to preview their ad as it would appear to a potential customer in a specific region. More info: http://www.sayu.co.uk/article.php?category_id=1&article_id=95&page=. This is more for adwords advertisiers though.
