Several plugin updates and a new plugin!

I've had a good day of coding, and updated several plugins today, all for different reasons explained below, and also written a new one, email commenters. Of course I used this chance to update all links in these plugins and in these plugins pages on WordPress.org. Check out what I did today:

Sociable 2.6.7

  • Renamed Sk*rt to Kirtsy
  • Added designfloat
  • Fixed the descriptions

Slideshare 1.1
I recoded the SlideShare plugin to make it use the Shortcode API, which made the code 25% smaller.

Permalink Redirect 1.0
This plugin had an issue where it made it impossible to look at preview pages, which I've fixed. I've also uploaded the plugin to WordPress.org.

Blog Metrics 1.1
Fixed a few divisions by zero when authors had 0 posts, or when there weren't any trackbacks.

Comment Redirect 0.1
No fixes, but I did upload this plugin to WordPress.org for the first time, so auto update should start working for this plugin as well.

Robots Meta 3.0.3
Thanks to Henryk Gerlach, a noarchive option was added to Robots Meta.

New: Email Commenters 0.1
Sometimes you want to email all people who commented on a certain post. This plugin gives logged in admins an easy way to do that by adding a mailto: link to do just that underneath each post.
Update: this plugin has already been added to the WordPress plugin repository as well!

Is there a plugin to put rel="nofollow" to the "more link" for wordpress. I searched a long time for it, but I didn't found one. How did you made that?

@Gutscheinfan: That's hardcoded into my theme...

Joost, just wondering does the Comment Redirect plugin in potential have the same issues as the Comment Relish plugin as Chris Garet faced with his hosting company? See this article: http://www.chrisg.com/when-good-plugins-go-bad-comment-relish-considered-dangerous/

    Hi Joost,
could it be there is a bug in robots meta update? Once I updated the tool (which is genius!) all checkboxes got marked true.. is this a bug or am I the one who caused it? This is 3.0.6 version

    greetz, Hannes

@Erno: nope, it's not emailing your readers, just shows them a page.

    @Dan: my pleasure.

@Hannes: posted about that, indeed a pretty huge issue....

I reallly love the plugin Sociable. I know you put a lot of hard work into it. I was wondering:
Are you planning to add a Myspace bookmark icon to the plugin? Millions of people worldwide use it, and it would be great if Sociable had that one. I'd love to be able to have a Myspace icon on mines.

    Love all your plugins.
