Glen Allsopp from ViperChill released an e-book this weekend on Online Reputation Management, and I have to say, it’s an incredibly good read. We do quite some reputation management at Onetomarket, but I’d have a hard time writing it down as good as Glen has done, keeping it a fun and good read.
Donna, who did a review of the book as well, listed quite a few good other resources, but I have to say, this one is really an easy entry into the topic, and if you really get all Glen says, you can’t even be called a beginner anymore… What I like most though, is his first chapter on ethics, as that really is the struggle in these kinds of situations: which companies you help, and which companies you don’t…
As it’s priced ridiculously low ($19, that’s like € 12.30!) I would suggest you go buy it NOW!

Thanks for the kind words, and delighted to hear you like what you saw :).
Thanks a lot for the information this is one of the area i am im interested to learn about. where can i get the book from?
sorry saw the buy link after the comment.
I have been looking for some info on this. However, I have just unwrapped the two boxes I got from amazon today (yeah I know, but I am having a couple of days off). So I am adding this one to del.icio.us, thanks for the tip, Joost.
The cover seems a bit too ‘stock-photo-ish’ for my taste though.
Glen did a great job with this book definitely worth it if you are trying to protect your brand.
some few harsh words can ruin your reputation among the customers. negative comments or response can prevail over your company’s good reputation. But there are some tools which are helping us in ORM and i have tried one of these and its worth checking. The AirCheese. Its really good and helps me a lot. Try out its beta version.
