Conversion Rate Optimization?
I'm pretty excited about conversion rate optimization, and all of that got started by two gentlemen who've become very good friends of mine: Ben Jesson and Karl Blanks. These two guys introduced me to the concept of conversion rate optimization in the beginning of 2007 at Dave Naylor's SEOdays.
Their "handle" online is Conversion Rate Experts, and that's just what they are. I've helped them turn their beautiful new design into a WordPress site, and I must say, it looks absolutely awesome!
When you check out the site, be sure to check out their Google Website Optimizer 101, and their excellent list of online marketing resources. Lastly, their homepage contains a list of "common mistakes to avoid" which is definitely worth a read too!

This is just what the doctor ordered for people who got drunk on the mentioned on the increase in impressions or clicks for the month and ignore their webpages which are often too shabby, too information sparse or too 'flashy'
Pretty nice design, but I find that the mentioned website doesn't have as much information as it should have, really. And the design IS nice, but it's a bit flashy, that's all. The sidebar is irritating.

I remember reading their original version (several times in fact) and it was absolutely amazing. When I found out yesterday that they had made a new version I instantly had to read it. Once again it is truly worth the time and I've already started implementing some of their suggestions.
I recommend it highly!
