A better SlideShare WordPress plugin
After doing my post about RIMC, I was kind of annoyed with the SlideShare plugins out there, as they had me change the default embed code, instead of just using it, so I've built a new SlideShare WordPress plugin.
It allows you to set a default width as well, so it will automatically size all presentations to that width. Enjoy!

You know what they say Karel, sleep is a symptom of caffeine deprivation.

Totaly agree with that! By the way, did you receive my mail yesterday?

Hey Joost, thanks for producing good stuffs. It's handy the default size for all the embedded presentations.
Anyway I think that I'll keep running just pb-embedflash, because I prefer to have a single plug-in for handling all the different kind of flash content: from youtube to vimeo, from flv to slideshare...
The syntax of pb-embedflash is quite straight and it's easy to use it with slideshare:
[flash http://static.slideshare.net/swf/ssplayer2.swf?doc=thesis-160970-15829 w=488 h=417]
note that the parameters w and h are actually the width and height of the embedding.
you can see it in action here:

Hi,
I installed the plugin but every slideshow shows the same message: "The slideshow has either been removed or made private by his owner."
I checked the status of my presentation and it is set to public.
Any suggestions on what to do to make it work? I've got the latest wordpress and latest plugin.
Thanks very much,
-John.
